The largest child abuse trial in the Federal Republic of Germany to date - in which all defendants were acquitted in the end. "The film makes the viewer think. It can make even long-standing lawyers reconsider their actions," said lawyer Wolfgang Ferner in his laudatory speech. "This alone is a reason why the film is not only recommendable, but should be made a must-see for all forensic lawyers."
Shortly before the end of filming (in November 2007), the Kaiserslautern public prosecutor's office began investigating the director of the home, under whose protection the children had been since 1993. The suspicion against him: sexual abuse of children.
